For this look, I found inspiration in the hopeless romance of Bridgerton, promenading through town, carrying a parasol, and being serenaded beneath my window.

    And funnily enough, that last part actually happened!

    When I was 16, my cousin Myelene decided I needed to experience a traditional Filipino harana for myself. On my birthday, she and her classmates arrived outside my house at 5am and serenaded me as a surprise. Teenage me was absolutely mortified... but also omg I really appreciated it 🥹 It’s a memory I’ve treasured ever since, and one that became part of the inspiration behind this collection.

    For this look, I wanted to create a Disney Princess moment with a Filipino twist. The sky blue dress paired with a lace parasol and matching Filipiniana bolero feels romantic, feminine, and just a little bit dreamy. How cute is the tulle petticoat?...
