Our sizing follows standard Australian sizes, with US and UK equivalents in the size guide. For a looser or more structured look, size up. If you are between sizes, message us with your bust, waist and hip measurements and we will recommend the best fit.

Material and Care

Dry clean recommended, or gentle hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry or bleach. Cool iron on the reverse, keeping the iron away from embroidery, sequins and beading. Store on a padded hanger with the sleeves supported.

    This modern Balintawak-inspired terno is easily one of my favourite outfits in the collection. It’s rich with detail and personal stories from the Philippines and home.

    We’ve styled very aspect of our runway collection with pieces and accessories made in the Philippines, by people dear to us, and vintage pieces from my Filipino cultural dance performance days.

    Our model Menju is wearing a real Salakot (farmer’s hat) that I wore when I was a child performing the Salakot dance in the 90’s.

    The Salakot reminds me of my family’s farm in rural Mindanao and it takes me back to the days when my brother, cousins and I would play in the rice paddies. We once rode the carabao that was plowing the field 😅 Those were fun and silly times that I remember fondly 💕

    This week, we’re taking you behind the seams of our runway pieces from the Flower Show at this month’s @qldartsandfashionfestival — where tradition met the present in full bloom.

    This collection is a love letter to our roots: it is modern Filipiniana reimagined through the lens of Philippine folk songs, our childhood days as cultural dancers, and the vibrant soul of Mindanao – our home.

    Here, our model Menju wears an unreleased piece close to my heart — inspired by the timeless Balintawak dress. Once worn in the provincial Philippines of the early to mid-1900s, the Balintawak was traditionally a three-piece ensemble. We’ve reinterpreted it for today’s Filipina: still bold with its signature butterfly sleeves and saya, now paired with sharp tailoring and quiet strength.
