As worn by Reina Bonta, Professional Football Player, Philippine Women's National Football Team (FIFA Women's World Cup 2023)

The Barong Tagalog is the Philippines' national attire. Traditionally worn by men and made of pineapple leaf fabric (Piña), the Barong Tagalog is now a universally loved dress-shirt for all genders and nationalities.

The Amihan Barong Tagalog is a modern take on a classic Barong, featuring three-quarter sleeves to complement the fitted cut of the shirt, and a subtle v-neck design with stunning embroidery. It is the perfect dress shirt for formal events, weddings and corporate wear.

PRODUCT INFO

MATERIALS: Organza (Polyester)

Please note the embroidery on this Barong may vary to what is displayed in the product images. Our designers get creative with their hand embroidery patterns, providing something unique for each Barong. Although the Barong fabric and and shirt style are the same across the sizes, the embroidery on each garment is unique and no two Barongs are the same.

Our garments are handmade using delicate fabrics and
materials. For more information on caring for your Mestiza Filipina piece, visit our Care Instructions Page.

SIZING

Our clothes are artisanally made in Philippines and the sizing may vary from international standard sizes.

We recommend taking your measurements and comparing these to our size guides to select the right size for you.

You can find size guides within the product photos (please swipe through the gallery of any listing), within the product description, or as a link on the product listing. But if you're unsure, that's okay, please reach out to us.

Sometimes a garment may vary by a couple centimetres between garments of the same size. That's just the nature of things made by an artisan crafter, although we're doing our best to ensure consistency and our makers work really hard to produce the garments that you love.

MODEL'S MEASUREMENTS

Our model, Philippine football star Reina Bonta, @ReinaBonta, is wearing the Amihan Three-Quarter Sleeve Barong Tagalog in size M.

  • How do I know my size?

Our clothes are artisanal made in the Philippines and sizing may vary from international standard sizes.

We recommend reading the size guides carefully and measuring yourself with a
tape measure, using your thumb to create a small gap between the measuring tape and your body. Then compare your measurements to the size chart to select your size.

We recommend having at least 1 - 3 inches (2.5 - 7.5 cm) allowance when selecting your size. If you’re unsure, we recommend going a size or two up for a looser fit or for tailoring.

Please see our FAQs and individual product listing descriptions for more
