  • How long does shipping take?

We’re prompt to dispatch orders that are in stock and these are typically processed and dispatched from our store within 1-2 business days. However pre-ordered garments can take 1-6 weeks to arrive in our store before we can dispatch the full order.

We ship worldwide and dispatch orders with Australia Post. You can find information about delivery times on the Australia Post website here: https://auspost.com.au/sending/send-overseas/international-delivery-times

For domestic orders within Australia, once dispatched it takes 2-6 business days with Standard Post and 1-3 business days with Express Post.

For US international orders, once dispatched it takes approximately 3-6 business days with Express Shipping or 5-9 business days with Standard Shipping.

But keep in mind these are estimates only, and actual delivery times will depend on available flights to your country, customs, and processing at your local facility. That's unfortunately out of our control!

  • Pre-Orders

If you have pre-ordered one of our pieces, please note that it can take 1-6 weeks (and may sometimes take up to 8 weeks) to arrive at our store in Brisbane before we can dispatch your full order.

Often we receive pre-orders much earlier, but it depends on what stock we receive and how quickly our garments can be made by our seamstresses. We’re unable to provide a specific date estimate on any pre-ordered garment's arrival. We opened our listings to enable pre-orders for our customers, so that they can secure the garment of their choice when stock arrives, as we quickly sell out when we re-stock online.

The delivery time, from dispatching from our store to arriving at your destination, depends on the shipping option you've purchased and available flights to your country, customs, and processing at your local facility.

Please check the page below for more information on our shipping policies including delivery estimates.

  • Are your clothing standard US sizing?

Our clothes are artisanally made in Philippines and the sizing may vary from international standard sizes.

We recommend taking your measurements and comparing these to our size guides to select the right size for you.

You can find size guides within the product photos (please swipe through the gallery of any listing), within the product description, or as a link on the product listing. But if you're unsure, that's okay, please reach out to us.

Sometimes a garment may vary by a couple centimetres between garments of the same size. That's just the nature of things made by an artisan crafter, although we're doing our best to ensure consistency and our makers work really hard to produce the garments that you love.

  • How do I know which Mestiza Bolero size I am?

Most of our garments are measured out by placing these flat on a table and measuring with a garment tape measure.

When it comes to selecting the right Mestiza Bolero size for you, we recommend measuring your shoulder width, from the top of the shoulder bone to the top of the other shoulder bone (as this is where the Mestiza sleeves will sit) and see which size that corresponds
to in the size guide. It is important not to measure from the very edge of your shoulders as this may result in your Mestiza Bolero being too large and sliding off your shoulders.

Please check out the "What size is Louisa?" FAQ for her insights on sizing.

  • What size is Louisa?

Hello! Louisa here, I'm the model in many of our product photos and we get this question a lot!

My height is 5’1” and my usual size is an Australian size 4-6/XS which is a US size 0-2/XS.

My shoulder width is 15 inches which is a size M in our Mestiza Boleros, but I like to wear size S (14 inches) as I prefer the Mestiza sleeves to sit tighter on my shoulders (there can be some flexibility with sizing).

The size that I typically wear in our range is a size S.
