The Barong Tagalog is the Philippines' national attire. Traditionally worn by men and made of pineapple leaf fabric (Piña), the Barong Tagalog is now a universally loved dress-shirt for all genders, ages and nationalities.

Our Classic Barongs feature a straight collar, traditional Filipino half-way button down design, and stunning embroidery on silk organza. It is the perfect, classic Filipino dress shirt for formal events, weddings and corporate wear. Now our best-selling Barong comes in children's sizing!

SIZING

 

Our Barong size charts are garment measurements only. We recommend carefully measuring yourself with a tape measure, using your thumb to create a small gap between the measuring tape and your body. Then choose your size based on your measurements compared against the garment measurements. You can also use your favourite button-up shirt to compare measurements for selecting your size. 

We recommend having at least 1-3 inches (2.5-7.5 cm) allowance when selecting your size. If you’re unsure, we recommend going a size or two up for a looser fit or for tailoring.

Please note that the Barong design is a straight-cut button-up shirt, with the chest measurements being the same as the waist measurements.

Measurements above size Children's Size 16 are adult sizes starting at adult size XS (see our Barong Tagalog range for adult sizes and measurements).

  • How long does shipping take?

    Orders are processed and dispatched typically within 1-2 business days from the order date.

    We ship worldwide with Australia Post and DHL Express.

    For domestic orders within Australia, once dispatched it takes approximately
    1-4 business days with Express Post and 2-8 business days with Standard Post.

    For international orders, once dispatched it takes approximately 4-6 business days with DHL Express Worldwide Shipping, 6-10 business days with Australia Post Express Shipping or 6-27 business days with Australia Post Standard Shipping.
