How do I know which size I am?
Our clothes are artisanally made in the Philippines and the sizing may vary from international standard sizes.
Most of our garments are measured out by placing these flat on a table and measuring with a garment tape measure.
MESTIZA BOLEROS
When it comes to selecting the right Mestiza Bolero size for you, we recommend measuring your shoulder width, from the back and from the top of the shoulder bone to the top of the other shoulder bone (as this is where the Mestiza sleeves will sit) and see which size that corresponds to in the sizing guide in the product description.
It is important not to measure from the very edge of your shoulders as this may result in your Mestiza Bolero being too large and sliding off your shoulders. If you're unsure, you may like to try one size up from your shoulder measurements.
MESTIZA DRESSES
For Mestiza Dresses, it's important to remember to refer to our size charts, as your ususal size may differ from your size in our products. Our dresses tend to run small, so if you're unsure, it's better to go a size or two up, as you can always tailor a dress down to your personal measurements.
BARONGS
How to measure which size fits you:
1. Take your favourite dress shirt and place it flat on a table or surface.
2. Make sure all of the buttons fully are done up, like if it were being worn.
3. Use some measuring tape or a long ruler and measure the shirt sections following the size guide in the product listing.
4. Select your size based on the measurements in the product listing.
5. We recommend having a 1 to 2 inch allowance between your personal measurements and our garment measurements.
