Our sizing follows standard Australian sizes, with US and UK equivalents in the size guide. For a looser or more structured look, size up. If you are between sizes, message us with your bust, waist and hip measurements and we will recommend the best fit.

Dry clean recommended, or gentle hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry or bleach. Cool iron on the reverse, keeping the iron away from embroidery, sequins and beading. Store on a padded hanger with the sleeves supported.

    What is a Malong? It’s the Philippines’ iconic tube garment traditionally worn by the Maranao people of Mindanao.

    The Malong’s shape makes it super versatile: as a wrap-around skirt, dress, baby sling, sleeping bag, towel and even as a portable change room!

    Malongs are so special to us. It’s from our home province, Mindanao, and we grew up performing traditional dances with it and using it in everyday life (especially when travelling omg so useful!!!!) 😍

    Goddess Energy 🔥 Alexis is wearing one of our Batik malongs from Mindanao—where my family is from.

    The malong is special to me. I grew up performing traditional dances with it and using it in everyday life. It’s basically a long tube—usually made of batik—and traditionally worn by the Maranao peoples of Mindanao.

    Its shape makes it super versatile: as a wrap-around skirt, dress (like Alexis is wearing it here), head turban, baby sling, or even a sleeping bag!

    As a cultural dance performer and content creator, I’ve also used mine as a portable change room (if you’ve seen me getting changed outdoors in Brisbane… yep, it’s probably inside my vintage malong I’ve had since I was 5 😅).

    My fondest memory? Sleeping inside my malong on an overnight ferry from Surigao to Leyte, where some of my extended family live.
